Sylvania 2018

Above and beyond
“Bring us something extra. Showcase Sylvania Above and Beyond”. With a new approach and a stronger focus on light and, subsequently, the product. That was the pitching assignment for this project. We translated ‘Light your world’, the company’s internal pay-off, into the stand concept ‘Step into our world’, combining a corporate style (branding) with a style that focused on emotion and experience (hospitality). This combination was applied to both the exterior and interior of the stand.

Look and feel as starting points instead of hard corporate identity
The interior of the stand consisted of two sections: a centre and an outer shell. The centre was designed with ‘Light YOUR world’ in mind. It put the customer centre stage by means of round, friendly shapes and natural colours and materials. This section acted as a hospitality centre. It was surrounded by an outer shell, a clean, corporate section executed in black and white with exposition zones, a meeting room and functional spaces such as a kitchenette and storage space. The visitor was pulled in by means of open access corners, allowing for a comprehensive brand experience.
